The Home Sweater V Neck is a drop shoulder sweater that is slightly oversized. It is a timeless classic that will keep you cozy and in style even when you just want to hang out at home. It is constructed from the top down. First you will work the stitches for the back, after that you will work the left shoulder then the right shoulder as well as the front to shape the v neck and the armholes. A few videos are included in the pattern. The Home Sweater is worked flat and in the round in stockinette stitch. It features a classic rib around the neck, side slits on the body ribbing and slightly wider cuffs on the sleeves. 20 to 25 cm / 8” to 10” of positive ease is built in to the pattern, chose your size based on how much ease you prefer.

Bust circumference of the finished sweater, with ease built in; XS 105, S 110, M 115, L 120, XL 130, 2XL 140, 3XL 150, 4XL 160, 5XL 170 cm, approximately (XS 411⁄2”, S 431⁄2”, M 451⁄4”, L 471⁄4”, XL 51”, 2XL 55”, 3XL 59”, 4XL 63“, 5XL 67”). Featured in size M on a 93 cm bust.

Gauge

16stitchesby25rows=4”x 4”(10x10cm)usingsizeUS8/5.00mmneedlesin stockinette stitch, after washing and blocking. If you obtain gauge with a different size needle for the body, needle for the neck ribbing should to be 1.25 mm smaller than the main needle.

Suggested Yarn

The Home Sweater v neck is made with dk weight* yarn, you will need approximately 375, (375), 400, (425), 475, (525), 550, (600), 650 grams of Gregoria Fibers “Cloud”, 50 grams = 110 meters / 120 yards. Sample is featured in color “Ivory”. *This yarn is fuzzy and light. Lighter aran weight yarn will work too.
